Greetings readers!
You may have noticed a lull of sorts in my postings. Alas, I have been on a much needed "staycation" here at the homefront. After the hectic holiday photo sessions ( some very last minute) and finals of fall semester, I decided my health could use a break. I am pleased to say I am sniffle free, knock on wood, and well rested- for the most part.
What did I do on this hiatus-you ask?
Well.. I became, what I affectionately refer to as, a "Twi-Mom". Oh Yeah, I read the Twilight Saga- the whole thing! All four books in a week/week and a half. I have begun reading book 1 again today as I enjoyed them so much- as well as the movie. These wonderful escapes from reality sit on my table next to lamp (exhibit a-below)

so that I can grab them and lose myself whenever time calls for it.

Incidentally, I also discovered talent other than Stephenie Meyers this break. The name Robert Pattinson should be familiar as many teenage girls are obsessed with the lad who plays Edward (the vampire) in the movie. I will say that he did make that role his own and was quite dreamy as Edward. However, this guy has more than just teen flick talent. He will be hitting the screen a few more times this year via Indie films such as The Summerhouse, How to Be, and Little Ashes. I strongly encourage you to check him out in those films. Did I mention his amazing voice and talent on the guitar? Seems he is a talented musician as well! Poor guy is getting mobbed by teeny boppers who think he's the dreamy Edward with no understanding of his true talents.
Anyway.. Ill be shooting again real soon AND trying to add more personal style blogs from time to time as well. Don't worry, I wont offer TMI. I am sure most of you know I am more than a woman with a camera and I would like to share some of that as well.
Happy New Year.. and Stay Tuned!

Glad to see you were/are lost in the Twilight realm too! It is a great place to get lost in for awhile. :) I also have to agree that Robert is a really talented actor and musician. :)
I just watched the movie the other night, not that abd but definitely a chick flick.
