Rob and Jena are Married!

Jena came to me as a referral from a friend. I can remember the day she called me as I was driving somewhere with my son in the car. He was being persistent about being my sole attention getter as I asked Jena the question that I ask all brides that contact me, "Are you a bridezilla?"

How dare I, you ask.

Being a student and a stay at home mom, I try to take smaller less high maintenance weddings so that I can be effective in fulfilling all of my brides needs. She lauged at the question and, after meeting her and Rob, decided she and I could work together.

All was grand and wonderful until a few days before the wedding. Jena called me to tell me that the Father had said that there was to be NO flash photography AT ALL. I figured it was no biggie as I have faster lenses BUT when I met him, he also told me that I was bannished to the very back row of the church as well. I took the challenge and made sure that I took as many shots of everyone outside as possible. We also re-inacted some scenes but you could see the stress on Jena's face in most of them.

Anyway... they are married and all is well in the world of Heather S. Photographics as Jena loved the images we were able to capture and I was more of a photogzilla then she could have ever been a bridezilla making sure I had every shot we needed.

Here are some of my favorites from the big day.
